What is the Proposition C Housing Trust Fund?
Proposition C, the Housing Trust Fund, will provide over $1 Billion over 30 years for affordable housing for people who are being priced out of San Francisco: teachers, nurses and child care providers, as well as people on low and fixed incomes such as seniors and people with disabilities. With the recent dissolution of the Redevelopment funding statewide, we lost the primary local source for affordable housing in San Francisco. We need a permanent local funding source for affordable housing now! A vote for Proposition C is a vote for homes that are affordable for all San Franciscans: your children and grandchildren, parents and grandparents, your neighbors and you!
