Californians could be evicted if bill is not approved by Sept. 1

Millions of California's are on the brink of eviction if a new bill by Assemblymember David Chiu is not approved. Says Fernando Martí, co-director of the Council of Community Housing Organizations, “The necessity of having to pay 25% of your income works for some people but for other people, it’s impossible”
